Last Friday I saw myself donning all my kawaii inspired gear and accessories for an event that has been on my calendar for months, and goes under the name of Hyper Japan. For those unfamiliar with the event it is basically a 3-day convention based at the O2 arena filled to the brim with Japanese inspired goodness, including food to feast your eyes over, traditional Japanese clothing/items, a nintendo gaming area and (of course) a whole area dedicated to KAWAII!
I hopped along to the event with a friend of mine (who is equally kawaii obsessed) in anticipation to feel fully inspired, and without doubt I did. I am actually planning on doing a separate blog post of the day later this week, so keep an eye out for it.
For the occasion I decided to wear a new purchase of mine from the Lazyoaf sale- a place where kawaii/girly/exceptionally cute dreams are made of. I actually picked up the skirt from their London store which has been top of my ‘go-to’ list for ages, and immediately fell in love with it as soon as I put it on. Finally as the weather was warm and summery I decided to opt for a simple white halter neck, paired with my lilac (lazyoaf) backpack.
