With it being just under 2 weeks to till I fly out to LA for a couple of weeks of sunshine and pretending to live like a local, the packing preparations have fully begun. For me there is nothing like that feeling of anticipation before heading off on holiday and all those things leading up to the big fly out day, that make you even more excited that it’s just around the corner. From planning “LA themed” playlists *ahem* Red Hot Chilli Peppers, QOTSA (obviously), Hole and The Kills to name a few. To those afternoons spent holiday shopping and deliberating on the ‘hat situation’-forever having issues on finding ones that actually suit me/fit >_<
Along with those pre-planned holiday outfits I will definitely be bringing along this “Black Skull” t-shirt (which is part of their “Headspace” collection) from the ‘uber’ cool brand “Grunge Monkey“. Created by the lovely Kim in 2013 stocking vintage finds and original designs inspired by the worlds of surrealism and fantasy, taking the form of things such as t-shirts, tote bags and wall art. Their Etsy and ASOS Marketspace shops are must for one-off/unique pieces, they also have a shop on Brook St, in Chester.
I also decided to pair the tee with this dainty infinity necklace from Rings & Tings, the infinity sign has a very personal meaning for me- to the fact where I even have it tattooed on my arm! So this necklace is a perfect accompaniment for an outfit where I want to keep jewellery simple and minimalistic.
