Stripes are a one of those patterns that are versatile and perfect as an all-year round staple. As soon as the months get colder my favourite way of styling items like these is by layering it with contrasting textures and pieces that are seasonal. A new purchase which I’ve been featuring fairly frequently on the blog is this New Look cord “borg” jacket, with a shearling collar. It’s the perfect jacket for this in-between weather we’ve been experiencing as of late, as it’s just warm enough. On the choker front of things (an accessory which has quite left my neck since my obsession started) is this cord tie version, with delicate silver hardware leaves attached to the ends. I just love how it adds a minimalistic touch to whole look and how easy it is to style. Minimal monochrome outfit are somewhat taking over my wardrobe.
