Denim has always been a trend which I often fall in and out of love with, as- especially with jeans they are one of those items which I find incredibly hard to purchase, as often the fit is never quite right. Don’t get me wrong when that special pair comes along they are generally most likely going to be worn to death, which in turn leads me to pairing them with every and any item possible in my wardrobe. But the path to achieving the ‘perfect pair of jeans’ in sometimes and long one.
When the J.W Anderson x UNIQLO collab. first launched last autumn/winter I was immediately drawn the strong english heritage vibes and their focus on creating high quality ‘classic’ pieces that can easily be injected into your wardrobe. That, and the ultimate stripe combinations that had me wanting all the colour combos possible.
So fast forward to the UNIQLO seasonal sale at the end of last year, and queue me scouring the site to see what bargains I could get my hands on. Which in turn led to purchasing said denim trousers for an irresistible price (ahem… from £50 to £19.99), after eyeing them up a couple of months prior (in store) and admiring the quality of the denim and the attention to detail – JW logo buttons and an embroidered logo on the back. Also there may have been a striped tee purchase in that checkout basket too…
