What is Blogger’s Block?
Blogger’s block is something that I find creeps up on you, when you think that you’re on a ‘creativity roll’. My notebook is bursting with ideas for content and yet when it came to typing this post I was stumped on what to write about. Blogger’s block is something that I inevitably try to avoid. As a person who still enjoys reading blogs, especially those posts which serve a ‘purpose’. You cannot help but put that incidental pressure on yourself to write content that you’re passionate about.
Overcoming the ‘block’
Coming to terms with it is one of the first steps to overcoming this ‘block’. In fact I like to turn it into a positive and think of it as a much needed creative break. Creativity is not something that streams out of you 24/7 and loosing that pressure to constantly think of the next of best thing. Is probably the best thing to move on from the block. One of my favourite things to do to get out of this ‘rut’ is to source inspiration from Pinterest. Pinning anything that really takes my fancy that I can use in my blog or instagram. From outfit inspiration to even camera angles. Think of this block as giving your content a new lease of life. Before you know it you’ll be back on the creativity wagon again, and producing content that you’re proud to serve up to your readers.
