Plaid for fall
If you had a quick scroll through my Instagram you’ll be well aware of my unhealthily obsession with leopard print. But if I had to pick another ride or die print, it would easily be plaid. For me there are two types of plaid. Summertime plaid comes in the form of flannel shirts, perfect for throwing over a summer outfit or as a beach cover up. Whereas ‘autumn time plaid’ comes in the more sensible and weather appropriate form of trousers and jackets.
I’ve been on the look out for that special pair of plaid trousers for a few months, and nothing really ‘cut it’ in terms of print and colour. That is until, I stepped into the Monki store in Carnaby Street and there they were. Staring me blank in face, calling me to part with my cash. Obviously I did and fit wise they are perfect. In fact I kinda wish they had more colours in store…
Styling with Knitwear
Now that autumn is in full spring. *Side thought:* Still cannot believe that we are now in October and closer to Christmas more than ever. Styling with the drop in temperature has to involve some sort of knit. This Shein one (gifted) is perfect for just throwing on with anything in my wardrobe. The cable knit detailing is also great at adding an ounce of texture to a look. If you had to pick an all time favourite print, what would yours be?!
