Last Sunday I made the journey over to Outside-In Food Court, Portsmouth (link) with Southampton Bloggers. Outside-In Food Court was established in April 2019 and are an informal dining concept tucked away in a hidden warehouse in the centre of Portsmouth.

What is Outside-In?

Outside-In offer are Portsmouth’s only inside food court, offering an array of independent street food vendors in a unique and relaxed environment. With food options that are also GF, vegan and vegetarian friendly. They are also plastic-free environment as everything they use is bio-degradable and/or recyclable. They are also a cashless venue so there is no need to bring your pennies along and are dog friendly too! The venue itself *might I add* is very ‘instagram worthy’ – think fairy lights and loads of faux plants in every corner.

The Food

There is such a wide variety of food that at the food court which caters towards everyones tastebuds and dietary requirements. I’ve listed all the food vendors, with a short description about what they all about below. We were lucky enough to try out a ‘taster’ of each. I say taster but in fairness the food was constantly following and came out from each vendor looking pretty darn delicious. This place is definitely worth a visit if your based in Portsmouth or visiting the area!

Natty’s Jerk – using authentic Caribbean recipes with a modern approach. Their goat fries were one of my favourites.

Breeno’s Kitchen – who served up a variety of food from both India and Pakistan, they’re food exudes authenticity and tastes pretty good too!

Dumpling Dumpling – served up an array of dumplings in a variety of different flavours, that were delicious.

ArepazGo – serving authentic Venezuelan food in gluten free sandwich pocket which is also known as ‘aprepa’.

One Tonne Burger Co. – known as one of the ‘best burgers’ in London, using beef with a 35 day dry ages and a blend of different cuts.

The Panormous Pizzeria – using original Italian products in their dough that gives you the original delicious taste of pizza.
