summer evening ideas
Summer evenings are one of the things I look forward to when the weather warms up. I just love to sit in the garden when the sun is just setting and the breeze still feels warm and enjoy the stillness of that moment. When it comes to how you choose to spend your evenings in the sunshine you can kinda get overwhelmed, especially as it’s looking like the majority of this summer will be spent in isolation. So I’d thought I list a few ways I’m choosing to spend mine this season (in isolation) which are also inexpensive to do, and you can easily get you friends/family involved in too over Zoom.
Dine al-fresco
I don’t know about you but whenever I take my dinner to eat outside it almost reminds me of being on holiday. You could even create a IG worthy setup with pastel themed decor and fairy lights.
Outdoor Cinema
Why not turn your back garden or outside space into an outdoor cinema. All you need is a laptop (with Netflix) and heap of cushions to create a cosy set-up. Also adding fairy lights to any of these set-ups will give it an instant lift.
Evening wine night
Take your favourite evening beverage (alcoholic or not) outside. Kinda like what I did above, you could also create a cute set-up with your favourite snacks, cushions for comfort, and props to make it that touch more special.
Also I know many people don’t have access to an outdoor space but you could always switch up things by taking these activities indoors – on the floor, picnic style!
What’s everyone’s favourite way to spend their summer evenings?

love this, I love having breakfast outside on a warm sunny morning too! I don’t have a garden right now as I’m still in my student flat, and it’s the no. 1 thing I’m looking forward to about going home.

I love the sound of a wine night, I’d either take rose or vodka to mine! x
