One of my new favourite styling techniques this season is wearing cardigans buttoned up and tucked into a high waisted skirt or pair of trousers, and even laying said cardigan over the top of a roll-neck for more of a ‘classic’ look. For me this styling technique stemmed from re-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and reliving my childhood – obsessed doesn’t even begin to explain it (I was the kid with Buffy Top Trump cards and a Buffy chess set complete with cast member figurines). Anyway Buffy obsession aside, and style notes re-taken the classic cardigan has taken a whole new meaning in my wardrobe, and is definitely an item with endless styling opportunities.
