Holla from across the pond. Having landed on (last) Monday night exploring has been in full swing, this past week. Some highlights have to include holding a ACTUAL baby alligator, after going on a swamp tour. Yep that really happened, and is it weird to say that I actually found it quite adorable. With picture proof and everything. We also headed out to Kennedy Space Centre to channel our “inner astronaut”. Which included seeing the place where Apollo 11 took off, to embark on that all-too-famous moon landing in the late 60’s. My inner geek was going crazy. We even learn’t that up into the sky above us is a team of astronauts working at the “International Space Centre”- as I type. Crazy!
Outfit wise as the weather out here is extremely hot and humid- light layers are a must. With “galaxy-dressing” serving as inspiration, because dressing the part is what I do best. I teamed this quilted white drop waist skirt- a bargain purchase from boohoo, with this subtly printed palm-tree top and those retro mirrored cat-eye sunglasses. Posing next to a group of astronauts, never felt more fitting.
