When it comes to summer dressing festival style has been a huge influence, over my wardrobe this season. Sometimes there’s no better way than to gather inspo. from the festival go-ers themselves. From the likes of Coachella to Glastonbury.
The thing about “festival dressing” that I love so much is the ease and comfort of styling these pieces. As despite style and channeling your inner ‘free-spirit’, comfort is key when dancing along to your favourite band of all time in the summer sunshine.
When Missguided contacted me to style up a playsuit of theirs, for their #suitandplayup, I decided to go for this cream crochet number. The simplicity of it makes it a dream to style, as it’s such a versatile piece. From pairing with fringe kimonos to oversized leather jackets and biker boots- the possibilities are endless. For this particular look I went for the (Zara) kimono that has stolen my heart, a paisley print back-pack (practical yet stylish), topped off with a retro pair of sunglasses and (of course) a pair of comfy shoes (or wellies depending on the weather). Now all I need now is a festival to get into the full-swing of things…*Kimonos and wellies at the ready.*
P.S There’s still time to vote for Style Peaches as “Best Established Fashion Blog” at the Cosmo blog Awards. It would honestly mean the world to me if you voted for my little ol’ blog! Thank you so much if you do – you can vote here!
